Did someone just say we’re going back to 190 High Holborn? Yes, you heard right we are going to be back face-to-face in no time! We can’t wait to have you back in class and bringing with you the amazing atmosphere you create. It’s been a while since travelling to High Holborn and for some of you this might be the first time... For this reason, we want to give you the low down of all the fun things you can do with your uni friends that are just a mere stroll away from the college.
One of the best things about where our college is situated is that it is at the epicentre of London and has easy access to some of the top places to visit. Take just a 5-minute walk behind our building down Drewry Lane and you’ll find yourself in Covent Garden where you can pick up some of my personal favourite skin care products from the ‘Original’ store. There are plenty of quirky and charming pop-up shops to be seen in the square from delicate paintings created by local artists to tasty macaroon treats for avid sweet tooth fans. And if shopping isn’t your thing there are always some amazing entertainers on the square performing magic tricks or acrobatic dances.
Too familiar with Covent Garden? Just 12 minutes of walking from our campus can get you to Leicester Square. This is the place to go if you love to go to comedy nights or theatre productions. This is the place to go to see some of London’s night life and even covers London’s Chinatown and Trafalgar square so there’s something for everyone! If you’re anything like us, we recommend letting your inner “Big Kid” out and visiting M&M’s world AND the LEGO store.
These are to name just a few of the places nearby our fantastic college and doesn’t even cover the fun places you can go for drinks or tasty food. Don’t worry though...we have that all covered so keep watching this space to find out more!
