How To: Jazz Up Your Presentations!

For some of you, reading week is coming up soon or is already in motion. With many of you preparing presentations, we want to make sure you have all you need to get those top marks! If you are showing your project to a panel of spectators or explaining to your tutor the work you’ve done in your most recent assessment, don’t worry, we have you covered! Here are my favourite resources I personally rely on to give my delivery of work that extra edge!

Made specifically for creating presentations, Prezi is one of the best websites to use to make your slides more visually appealing and professional! Prezi is designed to transition easily and has been developed specifically for high resolution remote presenting! I also love how this can be used on iPhone, iPad, and Android devices so is super versatile.

Yet another get platform to create with! Canva is a design website where you can get several templates suitable for a range of purposes such as social media posts, posters but more importantly slides! Canva has a whole host of templates which have fantastic visual elements and graphics and even gives you access to resources so you can learn how to effectively use the app. The best part is...this is completely free to use!

tip: Before using any of these have your content for your slides written ahead of time on a document with a file containing some images and logos you want to use to save yourself time when building your presentation!

Now that you are set with all the tools you would need to create a great submission of work; how can you ensure you’re confident in how you formulate your ideas? If you need some help in that area don’t worry, we’re one step ahead of you! I recommend checking out the TED talk linked below showing you how to make people want to listen to you!
