Who are we? Well, here in the ‘ENACTUS’ society, we strive to offer students the opportunity to develop social enterprises that tackle the United Nations Development Goals whilst also getting support and advice from big brand names such as EY, AIG, SAP and Unilever!
I’m in my third year of being a student at Pearson College London and, a member of the ENACTUS club! And despite this new COVID world, I am more excited than ever about the prospects this club has to offer! It is a year that promises to be challenging, insightful and highly rewarding!
The team and I are currently being mentored by some amazing advisors from Enterprise Rent-a-car, AIG, and SAP! And in the future, may potentially be able to engage with Asda and Moy Park. This first-hand experience of working and networking with key individuals will be so crucial when I look for graduate opportunities. As a third-year student, I am increasingly worried about the competitive and complex job market that I will likely walk into next summer. Yet, these worries have been reduced as ENACTUS helps open opportunities to students such as several employability days featuring top companies.
Because of joining ENACTUS, I have the opportunity to network with major companies, helping to grow crucial relationships! Not only this, but through my involvement in ENACTUS, I have the option of skipping several stages and going straight to the assessment centre stage for graduate roles at places like EY and Unilever! This is such a reassuring factor for me! This group aims to develop your soft and hard skills, and I have learnt so much over my previous two years, that I feel even more prepared for the next step outside of this college!
